The Four Wood Drive Kitchen

A kitchen that finally works the way they live.

A kitchen that finally works the way they live.

The homeowner loved the home, but the kitchen wasn’t keeping up with daily life. There wasn’t enough storage, and the bar wasn’t a place anyone could comfortably sit.

The most frustrating part was at the sink. With the dishwasher right beside it, opening the dishwasher and the trash cabinet at the same time left them feeling trapped every time the dishes needed doing.

They came to us wanting a kitchen with more room, a better flow and a space that felt comfortable to work in. Here is how we got there.

Homeowner Review

“It was a pleasure working with Azaliya, Serhiy and their team. They were able to make suggestions to maximize storage and offer solutions for difficult angles. It was a comfortable collaboration. We are very pleased with the results!!”

The Problem

There wasn’t enough storage, and the bar wasn’t set up for seating. At the sink, the dishwasher sat right beside it, so with the trash cabinet open, doing the dishes felt cramped and the homeowner felt trapped.

The Solution

A new pantry cabinet and wall cabinets stacked to the ceiling added the storage the kitchen needed. The bar was lowered to create a flat, extended countertop for comfortable seating. The dishwasher was relocated to the opposite side of the sink, with a cabinet placed between the sink and the trash pullout, so the sink area now feels open and easy to use.
