Kitchen Remodel · Lansford Road · Charlotte, NC
A design-build kitchen remodel by Aspire Building Company in Charlotte, North Carolina.
The Lansford Road Kitchen
The kitchen had become the darkest, most closed-in room in the house. A run of wall cabinets blocked the natural light, and the space felt dated and heavy every time they walked in.
They wanted more light without giving up storage. Taking cabinets out can’t mean losing a place to put things, so every change had to answer both.
Here is how we opened the kitchen up to the light, and what went into the finished space.

The Problem
The kitchen felt dark and outdated. A run of wall cabinets blocked the natural light and made the whole space feel closed in.
The Solution
We removed the cabinets blocking the natural light. To make sure no storage was lost, we added two floor-to-ceiling pantry cabinets.
